Samsung V200 unlock - 100% WORKING!!!!

100% working!!!!!!!!!!!!!


1) Get a Samsung OEM Cable and set it to D/L

2) From this site http://www.thienlongtel.com/download/samsung/ download: IMEIS100_SVC.zip and WinI109Q100_Security.zip

3) Run the install found in WinI109Q100_Security.zip

4) Unzip and copy IMEIS100_SVC.EXE into the installed directory (typically C:\Program Files\Samsung Electronics\SghQ100 Imei)

5) Power on the phone (with SIM in it)

6) Connect the cable (with The Switch to D/L and the charger plugged into the cable)

7) Launch IMEIS100_SVC.EXE

8) Don't change anything on the first screen but click "Write IMEI" and another dialog will open.

9) On this dialog, click "RD IMEISetting" and WAIT until PASS in top left corner (if this fails, stop here! This is only a READ; not a WRITE so you've done NO damage - also if you DO get an error, check that the The Switch is on D/L and try the RD IMEISetting button again).

10 ) Now click "UnLock" and WAIT until PASS top left corner - I didn't wait more than 2 seconds for the PASS to appear. Also, if you have an animated screen saver you will notice it stopped; don't worry.

11) At this point, I clicked exit, pulled the cable and battery and restarted the phone and T-Mobile worked.
Do not click the WAP button at any time! While there is a WAP button on the "write" part of the screen, if you click it, you will succeed in clearing out your WAP Proxy settings. This proves that you can manipulate the WAP settings via the Data Cable, but what it doesn't let you do is set a new set of proxy settings - you will not be able to connect to the Internet if you click the WAP button! "

I bought some off a guy on eBay- and they worked fine. It only cost me £3 too!! Their FAQs are www.titancomputing.com/auctions or search eBay for "v200 unlock". Definately recommended!!!

I'd like to ask 2 things:

1) Can I do this procedure with the original samsung cable that comes with the V200?

2) I have read some people saying "first press unlock and after that turn on phone"

so which is the right way? First unlock and then turn on the phone?

Or turn on the phone and *after* that press unlock ?

mate the codes are easier to unlocking the v200
here they are

turn on phone

1.press *2767*63342# and press green button
2.press *2767*3855# and press green button
3.press *2767*2878# and press green button
4.press *2767*927# and press green button
5.press *2767*7822573738# press green button

after these five codes are entered into the phone the phone is unlocked

The reason why I hesitate to use the codes is that some people have said that after unlocking the phone that way, they have problems with the charging....

i have already unlocked my v200 with the codes i havent had any problems with my fone yet i have unlocked dozens of v200 so far no problems

but just 1small snag, it resets the fone, therefore u lose any pictures or txts saved in it. is there away round this? does any1 else know away round it?
