Unlocking Samsung Genio S3650 - GSM-Forum

Hi,

I'ma newbie and this is my first post.

I am shortly taking possession of a Samsung Genio for my daughter that is locked to Orange in the UK and I want to be able to unlock so that she can use with her Virgin sim card..

I'm not very technically minded but am not a complete technophobe and have been able to do things like upgrade software to my Freeview Recorder.

Can someone, in very simple terms, talk me through whether there is software that will be able to do the job; where I can download it from, what kind of cables I will need, and most importantly a step by step guide -in plain English- that can take me through the process?

Your help will be most appreciated.
