Unhappy help with phone password!!


hi i have a samsung r200, i only just got it unlocked from my local phone shop and i have some problems with it

when i first put my sim card in and switched my phone on, it worked fine, then when i turned it off then imediately on again, an error message came up saying "system failure", when i leave my phone off 4 about 30 secs and turn it on it goes back to normal, it also does this if i press *#06# what is going on?

also some how my phone password seems to have been changed, i definitely didnt change it. is there anyway i can find out this new password, with out sort of pc cable / software, pleez help

also when a setup my phone for certain settings (eg ringtone, schedule, etc) and switch off my phone, then they r all reset to the options i had before i had my phone unlocked, what is going on? do i need an excorsist?

best advice is throw away in bin<br />buy new samsung as you destroyed phone <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">

Hi,

this code works o.k, and it also resets phone-password too.<br />But i have seen 2 phones that died after entering this, so it's the last thing I would try on a samsung phone.

If you read eeprom you can find the phone-password in bin-file.

I know adresses for a300 and r210s, probably r200 has same adres for phone-code as 210.

But it isn't that hard to find.
