Hi..my Name Is Sarah....and I Just Bought A Samsung E700 3 Weeks Ago...it Was Brand New And A Relly Nice Phone I Bought Of Ebay For A Pretty Good Price....now The Phone Has Gone Off...it Says Limited Service... I Have Read A Few Things On The Net And Believe It To Be Barred.....can Anybody Please Help A Total Novice On How To Change The Emei Number ..and Get The Phone Working Again....would Very Much Appreciate It If I Was Told What I Need To Do This If It Can Be Done....thanks In Advance Sarah

If you have warranty on the phone, then return it for service. Otherwise you need programs and cables to unlock and to change the IMEI Number....

As Jocke said the handset is proberly stolen it an be "FIXED" try find someone in your area that can sort you out

You say "Now the phone has gone off" Does this mean it worked okay when you first got it?

If this is the case then your problem MIGHT be as simple as a weak signal.
Or you may need a new sim-card.

If it is barred then YES you will need to change your IMEI no.

You need a data cable and winImei.

You can use Data cable which u use for uploading Tones & Wallpapers in E700
Use S500 Service Tools & Change your IMEI
