Samsung 2018 No More Fake Flashing (samsung update) - GSM-Forum

From concerned source it is announce that samsung is blocking the device from fake flashing.

To flash Samsung now 2018 device must use their own factory firmware no more downgrade sboot, no more region change.

It is also confirmed that the phone which sboot updated to 2018 system, same case apply.

So now its time to think 100 times before flashing.

Thats very important warning !!!!!!!!
Do not flash boot or sboot on full flash ..or custom firmware ..
After jan 2018 security update ...!!!!!!!!
For all samsung devises ...

I have a note 8 from BTU (UK - I purchased at CLOVE) I live in the US. Yesterday, I flashed the Poland Firmware for Note 8 with ODIN (January Security Update) When I booted up and turned on Developer Settnigs, OEM was unlocked and it said beneath it that "Your Bootloader is already Unlocked"

The only unnique thing I did was I did not have a SIM Card installed when I flashed the Firmware In ODIN.
