Member: 2898022 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | When flashing, what is the "Binary", the "bootloader," Security patch, Modem? What is the bootloader? what is "Flashing the modem" mean? For example, I have Android 8.0 on some phones, but I can't downgrade the firmware to anything below Android 8.0, is that because of the "binary" or because of the "security patch? Or what does flashing "just the modem" mean? I understand the general process of using Odin to replace a factory fresh firmware on a phone but I don't understand how to flash just the bootloader or just the modem. |
