Hi friend

I am currently busy but of course a little interest always comes even in busy times..

I found G991B (S21 5G Exynos) Boot repair files: Here.. someone must have used them in the past.

Maybe its useful for G980F (S20 Exynos), I have not looked through them, but a thought..

The download is here: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=10620683726822082671

The watch might be similar.

From this file:

Quote:
; Debug USB Recovery
; Emergency downloader tool's configure file

DNW_STORE exynos down 200 20 IMAGES/bl1.img
DNW_STORE exynos down 200 20 IMAGES/epbl.bin
DNW_STORE exynos down 200 20 IMAGES/bl2.img
DNW_STORE exynos down 200 20 IMAGES/s-lk.img
DNW_STORE exynos down 200 20 IMAGES/dram_el3mon.bin
DNW_STORE exynos down 200 20 IMAGES/ldfw.img.lz4
DNW_STORE exynos down 200 20 IMAGES/tzsw.img.lz4
Is what G991B (S21 5G) runs with..

Another thing.. Sometimes before S-BOOT its important to have a "buffer" on some devices now.. You can just use BL1 again

So

BL1>EPBL>BL2>BL1>S-BOOT (just an example, not any device)

So just put BL1 again before S-BOOT, if you have it get stuck/fail after sending a few parts (I think empty file can work too, just some info, for you or for anyone reading)

@AUGUSTIN45

Thank you very much for your files and hints again.

We have now progress with SM-G980F...

I have not fully realized the new header of "s-boot.bin"...

So Offsets from today attempt...

SM-G980F

bl1.bin
offset:
0x0 -------> 0x2FFF

epbl.bin
offset:
0x3000 ----> 0x15FFF

bl2.bin
offset:
0x16000 ---> 0x81FFF

s-boot.bin
offset:
0xDB000 ---> 0x35AFFF

dram_el3mon.bin
offset:
0x35B000 -> 0x39AFFF

IMHO similar mistake with Watch split... like my SM-R875F...

Maybe if I am drunken enough... I will test my own SM-R875F... this year...
As I nowhere saw success...

But Watch users not able to write 1 Byte...
IMHO not all my offsets wrong...

So little bit risky with trying alive device to kill for "science" & fun...

Meanwhile I will do some stupid tests with SM-G965F again....
As this looks really interesting with *.lz4 files in config...

Best Regards

@AUGUSTIN45

Thank you very much.

SM-G980F now confirmed alive.

With help of your files.

Watches take longer...

Special situation as UART or not UART...
Maybe tiny Game with Resistor and/Prolific...

Need more time...
But files looking good so far...

If somebody play with Watch like:
SM-R870
SM-R880
SM-R890
Or
SM-R875F or U or N

Still unsolved to revive sboot...

Because 0 byte write...

Any help is welcome.

Thanx in advance.

Best Regards

About the watches.. I will try to look at one of them.. including their files, i'll check their sboot out tomorrow and try to think about why we can't write

One thing, do you have the device vendor ID/device ID of one of these watch in exynos mode by some chances?
