I have successfully unlocked my t619 thanks to this thread, but when I try to send/receive a picture message, I get an error (unrecognized subscriber error). The phone is trying to send the data through t-mobile (the original brand) even though I unlocked it, and I'm using it with Fido... did I do something wrong, or can this just not be fixed?

I'm losing my mind over this little issue!

FIDO network settings for MMS / GPRS !

I was able to unlock the codes but afterward I put my husband's T-Mobile prepaid SIM card in it and all it does is search. We bought the T309 in the United States through T-Mobile and brought it with us to Germany.

What can we do to use this phone now? All help greatly appreciated.

This is normal to see "SEARCH" on the display you need an active sim card. Your phone is unlocked otherwise it would show "WRONG SIM"!

You may need to refill your prepaid Sim card ....

My husband has a prepaid Sim card we got here in Germany at the T-Mobile store when we bought him a new phone here. He just recently charged the phone and it has plenty of minutes on it.

Do you think we should just go ahead and get a brand new prepaid sim card to see if that one will work....or did we do something wrong?

Yes, check with your local T-Mobile store and try another sim card, also remember your Samsung T309 is not the best Handy to use in Germany. The T309 use GSM 850/1800/1900 and T-Mobile Germany mostly using GSM 900, with a few GSM 1800. - Tschuess

try it:Make sure to use a SIM card that is not accepted by that phone!

Enter reset code first?
*2767*3855# let it reboot

then enter...
*7465625*638*00000000*00000000# (to change NCK code to 00000000)

then enter...
#7465625*638*00000000# (to permanently unlock the phone)

My friend has a E350e and his 6 yr old got a hold of it and now it says "Enter Password"....How do I reset the password? [email protected] or [email protected]

Try to change the password, when prompted for the code enter 00000000.
