I tried the method you described so well, it worked but when I check the status of the locks, it doesn't show a 'phone lock' status...
phone is SHG-A836.

Any hints?

Is there such a thing as a custom firmware for s specific service provider?
I am with Rogers wireless in Canada...
I have unlocked my phone (Rugby A836) and when I look at the lock status, it doesn't show a 'phone lock' status.
Find it a bit puzzling, anyone can help?
