    936-sag how to reset wronge code counter.


    hi doctors,
    how to reset wrong code counter on 936,it is sim locked and counter has gone up to 137 hrs. i have been trying bartek 192 and dany work shop136, soft says ''counter has been resetted to 0 '' but in the phone it remains the same. any help.

    Save eeprom, and with SFE (sagem field extractor) put 00 in field 231, and in field 251 put unlock code in hex format, then write back eeprom !
    Or try enter in service mode with *abcdefgh then press ok (abcdefgh being the last 8 numbers of your IMEI without check digit). Press down arrow then * go to prom>Readin/writing field 231 write 00 , 251 write unlock code in hex format, power off phone and try with sim.

    hi,
    thanks for reply,when i tryed to edit field 231 ,[it was 00] it refususes to write,and the field 251 was edited successfuly,wrote to phone,,,,phone is unlocked now......but after registering to net work it goes off,now ....next step....plz.

    hi again,
    i dont thinks it is pa,because when the default eeprom[locked] is restored ,phone works properly.it is only when, the phone is unlocked by editing field 251 with the code in hex format.
