Member: 27136 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 |  Myx-5 E X T R A F U N C T I O N S Thanks to all you who have helped me so far. But now I just want to do one more thing... I waited for 1 Year for an update for my phone on the Planet Sagem Website - It never came !!!!  I wanted this update in order to activate the modem in my MYX-5 I know the field which controls what features are activated on the MYX-5 (The info button in the NewCalc1.6.CRV gives this) but I am not sure how to activate the modem. Can anyone help with this ? Failing this, does anyone know if a 'cracked' version of any of the Sagem updates is available? (i.e. one which does not check for the right number on the phone"). Finally, are there any other intersting things I can do with my MYX-5? Any other hidden features I can activate??? Hope someone can help !  I will be very greatful for any information recieved!!!!!!!  Thanks |

Member: 1993 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 94 | I understand your problem...but man! - try write mail on admins of planetsagem - and i think u will have update in few weeks - really - this also help us (CZECH) to get update......(But was bug in update - after update - wap no more functional......mms/data yes..... but wap not)....... Member: 27136 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | MODEM/ SAGEM Hi, Thanks for your response ! Believe me I tried this !!! Me and 2 other members of the forum posted over 300 times!!! We tried PMing the Admins as well, and every time they promised to look into it, and at one stage even promised that we would have the update within a couple of weeks - THAT WAS 5 MONTHS AGO !!!! I also emailed T-Mobile (UK) twice (who the phone was locked to) - THEY IGNORED ME !!!! [ WITH THE HELP OF MEMBERS OF THIS FORUM, I CHANGED NETWORKS BECAUSE OF THIS !!!] The update definitely is not gonna come from T-MOBILE/SAGEM !! So if possible, my only solution is to activate the modem myself !!! |

Member: 35603 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | I thought the manual update mode did not check for phone version? Or maybe manual+bootstrap mode? I never dared to try this myself on my myx-5m. I think the update will never come, but I don't know what consequences could have an update with a firmware not intended directly for my phone...? Bingo |
