I have (had) got a sagem myx6 phone with hungarian vodafone live firmware! i wanted to change it so based on an information i got, i started editing field 997 ( from the 7th pairs of number) and 267 (from the 6th pair) in eeprom (which contains the certain firmware- number required to upload a certain firmware.) After that, i downloaded firmwares from www.planetsagem.com and i menaged to upload most of them to the phone (one by one ofcourse . However, the upload was completly successful, i got the next message: "sim locked". Obviously, the firmware belongs to the service provider, locked the phone. Some Italian guy says that if 997 and 267 field are the same than it doesnt lock the phone! Is there anyone with any idea? Have u got any useful information? If u can PLEASE HELP!!!
