You need to check it again, People are selling their machine in 1998 for just 900$, It means it is manufactured before 1998.

Let take those machine 2yrs old, SO it is manufactured in 1996, Ok.

Now calculate 2012-1996=16years(1year Gift for you

Check site & ask for quote.It is still available.You can buy it today also & if you sell it after few months I think you wouldn't say it is 15 years old.
