a50 turns off


Hi,

I have a new a50 (without guarantee), after turned on, insert pin, and in 1 minute the phone turns off. I´ve tryed with another batt, but the problem persist.

Any idea?

(Edit: without SIM, the phone don't turn off itself)

Ok, thank for your responses.

As i can see the problem is hardware. Then i can't make nothing, i'm not technician, and i have'nt element for make this repair.

I think the problem ca be resolved by soft, but........

Hey, Chris02, with all my respect for you but this is not PA problem.
What do you say if is a crystal fault ? 90% cases, if phone work only 1' is that the 13 Mhz not working and the clock the same to.

@Chris02

hi Chrsi02, ive posted you a query on A50 in another section already...(when i start the phone, it just goes orange display for a couple of seconds, there is a slight buzzz sound and it turns off).....could this be hardware problem...??? could anyone please lookup ? (in fact ive a similar problem with a new M55 that worked just a day... : (

i really hope this helps...

after doing this i am getting 'sos...insert your sim card' display sometimes. But when i insert a working sim the phone goes down again!!!!!!!

I have the same problem with many Sie A50. They switch off after a whilw, 4 hours, 6 hours. That it seems to happend only when they are used on network. In the lab never switch off. ( only if battery is empty )
Someone have any ideea ?
