post here what you think about your prodigy,the advantages/disadvantages of using prodigy comparing to others tools.

Personnaly i think it's one of the best tools for nokia
the only disadvantage that i see is it works 100% only on win xp

well thank you for your support.... alot of people are to lazy to work out the little tips and tricks for prodigy to work smoothly. i personally dont have any problems using it, just tweaking the setup.

main this is we do NOT include the FIA files in setup because this is copyright of nokia, so the user has to manually setup the TIA and FIA.

Prodigy is a good tool and the team offer the best DIRECT support unlike the GT's...

Just slower FLASHING TIME on WIN 98 ON 1010 VERSION.

BEST IF YOU WANT FAST AND RELIABLE FLASHING FOR PHONES WITH BIG MCU.

HAS THE BEST AND LONGEST CABLES.

DISADVANTAGE: NO LED INDICATOR FOR POWER AND LPT.

BUT WE DID PUT LED INDICATOR FOR POWER WHEN OPENING THE BOX WAS PERMITED FOR DUAL CABLE CONVERSION.

for unlocking its best..

user interface is also very good....

auto selction of files is also the best..

so a great tool!

people that say its bad... you dont know how to use your computers properly thats probally why..

youll problay say the same thing about any tool that doesnt have a simple exe file to use.

The LED indication for POWER of box and Phone POWER is very usefull, I thing. I've done it immediately after got my box.

Prodigy is very nice a piece of HW and SW.

One tip for users who has problem with N6230 (phone don't respond after failed flashing) - just short-circuit all batery contact on phone for a moment or make little cable modification (add resistor 100R parallel to battery contacts + and -).
