Member: 7650 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | Why cant someone answer a simple question of what cables to use for BB5 phones. There are no cables included with F1. It only comes with a USB A to B, a 10 pin to 8 pin converter, with no instructions on what cable to use. |

Member: 18200 Status: Offline Sonork: 100.1608286 Thanks Meter: 82 | This is unbelieveable. Some1 asks a fools question, and no one can answer him simply, only a lousy answer. OK again: WHAT CABLE DOES THIS BOX USE ? JAF 7 pin cables or UFS 5 pin cables ?????????????????? We know they are different on BB5 phones. But for DCT3,4, WD2, they are same |

Member: 1024 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 5,510 | Hi guys, Cables: You can use both type of cables, because F1 doesn't use the RX2 pin for flashing, neither the Vpp at the current moment(we will enable this only if sure that is 100 % safe). Just make sure you use the adaptor always. Slow flashing on DCT4: We were doing some testing on the F1 dll and set the speed to be 4 times slower then normal, just for the test, then forget to restore it. Sorry, will have new version very soon/or patch for the problem. DCT4 ask files: Those are created as a back up when you flash the phone, check the "/BackUp/Ask" directory. Its much better, since new phones don't have a backup RPL section in PM, so at least you sure you have backup of the phone identity. To create manually, select flash file(correct or similar) and use the Boot In Flash mode option (DCT4 Advanced Page). Hope this clears the things a bit. Regards |

Member: 1024 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 5,510 | Hi, Please download the latest version from our website. Uninstall the old version first, install the new one and follow the procedure for updating the driver carefully. I see in you screenshot that you're trying to install new version while you have already running NSS, please make sure that you run only one instance of the program, otherwise is not possible. Regards |
