Can anybody help with the Bluetooth wireless earbuds?

I have Samsung galaxy buds, and my sister who owns an old Toshiba Laptop is trying to connect them to the laptop. The buds are visible during scanning but cannot connect to the laptop. Can anybody tell what's the matter?

I just looked through the internet a bit and I found this instruction.

First you should go to the Bluetooth Stack Program on the Computer and open it. Then go on connection settings in the menu and click on Bluetooth Discovery Mode. Turn on the Ear Buds.
After that select "add device". This is on the menu bar of bluetooth stack. Click "add" then "next" (Bluetooth add wizard)
Search for available devices. Click on the desired device and select next.

Maybe this can help you If not let me know
