Bluetooth headphones/dongle help!

Ok, so I decided to buy a pair of Bluetooth headphones. Ended up settling on the Gogo Airband (functionally identical to the Jaybird SB1). It's got a standard headset profile, an A2DP profile, and an AVRCP profile. I also have two dongles, both of which have their issues. One of which I will be returning:

One is a Rocketfish micro adapter from Best Buy. It's got a Broadcom chip, and runs WIDCOMM software. It works great, except for one thing. I use the Call Phone feature in Gmail frequently, and when a call is initiated, it rings normally, but makes a weird noise and goes silent. This seems to be because it's switching profiles from the A2DP to the regular mono headset profile (to get the mic going, no doubt). Not an issue with the headphones, as I've tried three distinct pairs (Two different Rocketfish models, and the current pair).

The other dongle is an Azio BTD211 with a CSR chipset. It came with the Bluesoleil stack, which doesn't seem to have a facility for automatic switching. If I try to enable both profiles simultaneously, it behaves...strangely. I've taken to manually enabling and disabling so I only have one profile going at a time, but this is not ideal, since I have to go clicking around when the phone rings.

The ideal solution is to just have the A2DP profile running for the ears, and have the mic on all the time. I realize that isn't possible, though. So how can I automatically switch with the options I've got?
