Problem with Nokia 6600 and Bluetooth

I have just bought a bluetooth dongle and trying to connect it with the Nokia 6600. The dongle is of make lyndie (i think, there is no name on the box i received) and supplied with the XTDN Blue Manager software and also have found the WIDCOMM software.
When installing the WIDCOMM software the it cannot find the device and also that i have no license for the product: 'your bluetooth software license does not include use with this bluetooth device' (what is this?).
When i install the XTDN software a green light starts flashing on the dongle. The software finds the phone and i am able to pair the device with the phone.
Then when i try to connect the phone through PC Suite router it is either not connecting (saying disconnected), or saying connecting but never actually connecting or most of the times writing that the port is used by some other application. I do not have any other bluetooth application. Sometime i managed to connect it and open pc suite but it was unstable (the connection ended after 5 minutes).
Finally i noticed that bluetooth is a bit slower than infrared i was using before. I thought bluetooth was reaching 1MB speeds.
