Member: 39443 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | Widcomm 4.0.1.2101 Just created the patch.... To install follow my instructions EXACTLY, this is the fastest way: -Unplug the Bluetooth device -Install Widcomm, don't make a reboot -Kill the processes BTTray.exe and BTSTAC~1.EXE in the Task manager -Rename the 4 files to replace to .original -Copy the patched files to the location -Reboot Or an other method described http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=212988 Seems to be the first version supporting High Quality Audio (at least the device is installed by default) |

Member: 153628 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | Thank again Billyx, this version is working very well. Now I can get my HP BT headphone working! But to use it with 2 HID devices is really painful as they claimed A2DP need hugh bandwidth. But it is better than noting |

Member: 155281 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Bleutooth not stable... I have the following problem after installing 4.01.2101 (also with the previous versions). I have a Mycom Bluetooth Dongle (CSR chip): USB\VID_0A12&PID_0001\6&7172438&0&3 OS: Windows XP SP2 (bth.inf and bth.pnf both renamed, so Windows BT stack can't load..!) After successfully installing/patching etc. the bluetooth connecting only works for about 30 seconds and then i get the error "bleutooth device not recognized" (or something similar, it appears in Dutch so i have to translate as good i can). I have been experimenting for 3 nights now (as i said installing the 3 latest versions of Widcomm) but all gave the same result. Also i discovered when the BT-connection is "up" that when i try to discover other devices the connection goes down within seconds. A year ago, when i bought the dongle and had Win XP SP1 and Widcomm 1.3 installed, it was all rock stable. So i guess it has something to do with SP2. Maybe someone recognizes this problem and can give me some advice or even better, a solution. |

Member: 139296 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Thank's I didn't expect it would work like that with such message. This version is working well even A2DP with an BT-USB (unluckily Jerky with BT-CF Card). I will try some more later and post if necessary |

I have compiled an Excel file from the BTWUSB.INF for 4.0.1.2101 and 1.4.3.4 (my previous version) showing what's supported. You could try add your BT module to the BTWUSB.INF and see if it helps. (Look at the example I have attached). But it was of no help to me (VID=1668 & PID=2441 on an IBM Thinkpad X40 with a CSR BT internal module III, Firmware rev. = 546, HCI = ver 1.1 rev 0222). I did not get the A2DP. Someone else might have more knowledge if it is possible with some more changes. | |
