Here I am switching to Vista. What is the latest Widcomm BT version please? I got 6.0.1.4900, although the control panel shows 6.0.1.3700. Anyone has this one as a self-standing installation kit?

Otherwise, I see in Vista there's no such My Bluetooth Folder, no icon colors etc. Is that so, or is it that mine hasn't installed properly?

where did u get it? can u make a x64 mirror?

I got that via the usual Broadcom update route. That is why I was asking for the self-standing installation kit...

Okay, I managed to retreive the BTW_6.0.1.4900 installation kit. Where should I upload it?

It's cracked ? Does it works with generic dongles and Vista ?

It contains both x86 and x64 versions. I have a Dell BT module 355, and this driver does work for me.

I guess it depends on how generic is your generic dongle. It works with mine (Belkin and Jabra) right out of the box, no cracks or hacks needed.

It's only for the 64 edition, could you please upload the 32 one ?

Don't have the 32 bit one, sorry. At any rate, don't bother w/4900 anymore as they just came up with the 5100.
