If you do a file compare, you will find this release has no changes in any of the driver files from the previously posted Widcomm v5.1.0.1700a. The only differences are in *.ctm (I believe these are custom language files) and setup.exe. I don't believe there's anything new here.

I should have been more specific. None of the Widcomm driver files changed (other than some custom language files). SETUP.EXE changed to add the firmware update, but it's specific to the AnyCom 200/250 adapters. So, unless you actually own an AnyCom adapter and need the firmware update, there is nothing new here compared to the previous v5.1.0.1700 versions.

Please don't take my posting as criticism or that I don't appreciate your making this new version available. I'm always excited to see new stuff posted.

@illusion0: Another great grab. Hope to hear some news on the firmware, and perhaps update methods as well. My previous experience with firmware flashing isn't all too pretty. Ended up with a Class-3 from Class 1 the last time I did it.

Looking forward to the next generic CSR compatible version... if it ever comes... thanks for the great find dude.

Thanks but Im getting peed off because none of the 1700 versions work for me. Before I was using an anycom widcomm stack which I then upgraded to 5.1.1200 BUT with 1700 and 1700a my K750 pairs but none of the goddam stuff refuses to connect while all the services show up. Im sorry but I really am annoyed. Thanks.

There's another distribution of the 5.1.0.1700 stack in the same place where the 5.1.0.1100 "popped up":

http://www.cell-network.com.cn/messa...W-5.1.1700.zip

I have no clue if there's any differencies with the other distributions as I haven't downloaded it myself.

If any1 wants to give it a shot...

Thanks for the heads-up on the new posting of Widcomm drivers.

I just compared the files in this distribution against those in the previous 5.1.0.1700 posts and there are no differences (other than the list of supported devices in BTWUSB.INF, which hasn't changed since the 5.1.0.1100 release).
