N-gage Demo version


I have one N-gage phone.When i check its software version it is Demo v3.xx and also it is not making calls.When try to make calls it says.Its a demo phone cannot make calls.Can i flash this phone with other flash pack and will it be ok.Please give me hints if anyone did this kind of phone before.thankx.

It is flasheable with the N-Gage cable.

Try to get it into Local Mode first.
If that isn't working just select the flashfile and PPM and just try flashing it.

It worked with the only N-Gage I had.

Well i flashed the phone with normal flash ........now its working but the menu is not complete.....many things are missing like settings,Calender ,tools,messeging,media,extras.So if any one have idea please post here.thankx

And just perform Factory Resets again.

well i flashed it many times and then did factory defaults.But nothing.I think that there is somthing in the hardware of the phone coz phone was before showing as it is Demo version.thankx.

Hi

Just try to format user area !

flash the mcu, ppm, adsp ... OK

But put your phone to local mode first and then format the user data area.

I think demo handsets are standard products with just another os version.
