UFS3 & HWK Questions
 

Hello

im thinking of buying UFS3 and HWK but i have some questions.

How long do you get support for?

are all the flash files in the support section?

how many and what bb5 phones can be flashed? (will there be more added in updates?)

what nokia phones can you change imei on? (are dct4 phones done by a patch?)

what sony ericsson, samsung, motorola, lg and sharp phones can you change imei on?

are there guides on how to use UFS3 and HWK in the support section?

Hi for nokia it a good device an a lot of flash and guiding but for the rest it stinks for samsung no manual you wil find nothing to guide you.

U can buy only ufs and use latest software without hwk.

Yes, UFS suite 3.1.0 and 3.1.01 with HWK killer can work as HWK original! But if you don't mind your paying, HWK is better!

ufs3 is good box still now and good price too :) but it seem to come to an End :)

ive all ready buy uf3 last week and its cool!!! every box has a nice stuff...so, all u have to do is buy all boxes u want.....

I bought ufs3 from the beginning, but never received support. I had a site where I should be to update my box but it seems that changed. I bought it from westerna and they are not official resseller so I cannot get registered. Can someone tell me where I can find the latest software?
My box is original. So what do I do?

I find it to be not bad. I also learned how to work Samsung phones without any new software I get some new phones unlocked like the X150 or the X490 or x156

Nokia phone work also but Have a lot of problems with the new types of phones. So If someone can help me to receive the new software I would also like to use the hwk killer software.

Motorola is s,h,* t
It never worked for me. I do have software for motorola phones so I'm not to mad that motorola phones cannot be unlocked by this box.

Before you decide if you want to buy it please dont forget to ask the REALLY important question..

How long will i have to wait for support/Updates..

The answer to that question is......Damn close to infinity...

ufs box is really great at what it does...but please bear in mind that no matter what others might say, you should consider the ufs box a closed project...There might be updates but please dont count on it.

In my opinion it does nokia, samsung and old SonyEricsson phones really great..

New sony's ... Forget about it....For example....K750 and newer models are all CID49, they have been supported by every other tool for direct unlock for a long time now....On HWK you still need to do TestPoint (Open up phone and attach a lead to a point)..

If you can get a good deal on a ufs box and you want nokia and samsung then buy it...For everything else there are far better tools out there which receive updates regularily..

Again....First question should be.....Is it likely that there will be any more updates..

Very limited updates for UFS: look into purchasing a product that has frequent updates. Pay thay extra will pay off!!!

If you want products that are still updated for the various phones consider these :

Nokia : JAF
SonyEricsson : SETool (Does not support old models though)
Samsung : NSPro
Siemens : SST

Various other models : Vygis toolbox (LG2G f.ex)..

Thanks everyone for your help.

I was thinking of buying JAF but support is only for 6months and that put me off alittle bit and then i found a deal on UFS3 and HWK (£150) but now people are saying use HWK killer i could get another deal (USF3 and USB Smart for £135) and still use HWK killer but from some of the posts ive seen USB Smart can do more damage than good on certian phones and now im told theres not alot of updates to UFS3.

is SETool better than Cruiser?

maybe i should just get JAF and either Cruiser or SETool and then in a few months get NSPro
