UFS-3 Tornado problem.. - GSM-Forum

Hello

I can't do nothing with my box..
I was trying to communicate with some DCT4 phones,
like 3510i, but without any luck....((
When 3510i is connected to UFS-3 and i wan't
power in it -- then it just blink once and that's all...
and i have problems with many other dct4's...
The only one i have successfully flashed
was 3510 (mono) and dct3's.

I found out that in old versions DCTX13h and older
it shows my SN: 7326, but ORIGINALLY MY BOX IS 72326!??
And it asks for activation string... for 7326 i can't
calculate strings on ufsxsupport..

I don't know what to think about it.......

PLEASE HELP.....

Ask your reseller. Your box is clone or have any problem.
Alternative problem solve:

- Check your USB cable
- Check your USB driver installation
- Check your box hardware
- Check your software installation

If you have UFSx Support access on ufsxsupport.com, you can calculate the strings to your box 72326 (twice calculations/box).

Thank you for your answer.
I tried my box on 3 computers,
without any luck...
On fresh system i installed DCTX 1.3k
and usb drivers from them -- it should
be good... but not for this box :[

I think it's original, because
i registered on ufsxsupport and
they activated my account,
so it should be original ?

I can't open cover of my box,
because it has warranty seal..

What do you guys think about it ?

the same problems i have too, few models of nokia phones (2600, 3510 for example) cannot connect on UFS... on display on phone i see LOCAL MODE but program dosent work...

few others models works on first try...with the same cable... so the cable is good, ps is good, because i tested on 2 pc with win xp and 98... driver ok i suppose, last version, usb cable is good... i dont know what i'm doing wrong...

Hi Shurubelul,

I was same problem like you. The problem is the next. When in the DCTx prgram don't select the phone brand (egg DCT4) the software use egg the DCT3 or DCTL functions maybe. When you select the correct brand your UFS works correcty. (When you start it the DCTx program the first option basic option is UFSx).

2600:

- Select the DCT4
- Select the 2600 (RH59)
- Change to TEST or LOCAL or NORMAL mode.

Always select the brand before the operation. This is important.

When the UFSxSuppor give you an account I think you have an original box. Ask your reseller from your problem solve. I don't know what is this.

Hi again,

Im f***ed up, because my UFS don't wan't to supply power
on connected phone... so on my 3510i or 2600 i don't
see LOCAL MODE etc... When i wan't it power on,
then phone just blink once the light on for a one second,
and that's all... on dct3 everything is correct,
when i'm in dctx on dct3 category, then the phone
starts automatically.. :///
I always choose the correct category and phone model... ?
I tried that box on 2 usb cables..
The '3510' cable is correct because it flashed 3510 (without 'i')
without any problem..

i have similar problem with a lot nokia phones.. one day it flashes phone like 3120, 6230 etc. and another day it just won't work.. than i tried to install some older version of dctx than tried.. than installed new version without uninnstalling older one. Use overwrite all. And same phone that refused to flash now works perfectly.. than after few days.. same thing.. but i use same reinstaling metod and it works.. maybe it will work for you also.. give it a try

but simply i can't because it asks for activation string,
and identify my box with shorter SN (72326 >> 7326),
and i can't calculate correct codes for it...
Any solution for this ??

actually ufs3 can't fully support 3510 and 3510i
some time it connect and some time it can't connect and can't show local mode
this is big f*u*c*k
i have 3510 set which is locked and can't connect than i try to flash it , in 50% erasing it show stopped and can't full flashed
every time it stop in 50,52 or 57%
any suggestion
