i think i have the unlock code for my sanyo... but how do i get a menu to type it in. when i put in a foreign sim it just says it cant read it.

It is maybe too late for you, but for others....

For the majority of these phones, if you turn off the phone and remove the sim card before Orange send the sim updates (i.e. when it is brand new) the phone never gets locked in the first place !
Strange, but true !
