samsung gt-i9505 back and menu button
try to check the connection between the charging port flex her with his key sensor
well connected (remember: the flexi cable length is very flexible
could result in the connection was not good)
change its key sensor flex ribbon
see the image below:

dont forget to press thank

i have an i9505 and the problem is that when i press home button it acts like i would press Back button. So if the phone screen is locked nothing happens if I press home button, or when in call ,I can't exit call screen and enter the menu. Do you have a picture of that ic? or any solution ?

I encountered this same problem as mentioned before on 2 separate occasions BUT both phones received Lollipop update the day before. Both phones used to have their buttons working on KitKat, but since Lollipop, the back- and recent apps buttons stopped working. I suspect it's an update related problem. Only workaround I found was to activate a floating button with four squares which acts (among other things) as a back and recent apps button ...

This solution worked 10000....% Fixed 10 devices with same problem but BE CAREFUL

10000...% worked for me but BE CAREFUL

Turn your phone upside down. on the table with Screen touch face the TABLE. Elevate the phone a bit up from where the search, home and back buttons are located upto 20 Degrees up, THEN LEAVE it to Drop on the table slight. You should not lift it HIGH cause that can cause damage on Touchscreen ONLY up sightly and LEAVE IT TO DROP on the table. Have fix 10 Devices with such same problem No Restore, No Flash just LIFT and DROP

OR

Knocking the Touchscreen (Not recommended)

Remove the Screen Protector on your Android device if present. Now, gently knock every corner of your touchscreen to realign it. Sometimes continuous phone drops cause screen digitizer cable to loses its connection to device motherboard however, its a rare case.

My method works because it RE-Align the SCREEN again. No restore, No Flashing, NO Dissasembling the phone. Just LIFT and DROP solution. 10000000.......% tested and WORK Successfuly
