Samsung D600 (slider Problem)!!! - GSM-Forum

guys hav this weird problem with d-600???
when slide is closed and u power on fone its fine and turns on and functions normal...

but-when fone is switched off and the slide is open,when u power on the fone it turns on but only with blank display!!! not white display just dark with small white borderline light!!!
when u close slide the screen lights up and functions normal!!!

any assistance would be most welcome
and thanks in advance.

sounds to like this handset has been taken apart .????

if so then has the maganet been put back properley (ie) the right way around
as this operates the function of the slide ?? also it could be the ribbon cable either not located properley or needs replaceing both these options could be your problem
