i have r220, the *****piece does not work,i have changed the *****piece,the problem persisted,i changed the driver with five legs near the mp,yet theproblem is still there.pls,can any one tell me what next to do?

usualy when you open up amy of the new samsung slide phones you need to be careful with the flex,because once the flex is tampered with it easily gets damaged.So in this case your *******r might be right this time,so just check the flex if their are any broken lines in it,if so you need to replash the flex,cos the flex controls the ringer the screen and the of/on button.

if u don't conect hands free 3+5 and 4+6 are in schort... so check if it is so, if not just make the short

JUMP A LINK WIRE FROM THE MAIN PCB TO LCD BOARD.
USE EARTH/NEG FOR BOTH LINKS .

Search with multimeter the PCB for Shortcuted Conds. after procedure i think should be the same...If cond is electrolitic you should take of, and replace, if normal cond thry remove, and if short is steel there you aply 5V 2.5A for some time till short go, and R over Cond is around 155 or more...
Also there are some Diode on the bottom keypad part, try to see if there are shortcut also(beep on the the two ways)... if so you take them out, or replace them

All this is what i think, i didn't have this problem yet
All i had was one C electrolitic on botom near the 2 diodes and it was easy to see it was broke, because he was in schort and color and form change... I have replace and now phone ok... but i don't know if man have charge it with lg...

check battery voltage using code *0228# without sim screen displays voltage of batt. detected by cpu if it is wrong voltage reflash phone try again
