Hello, the problem I have, is that U501 in theory is a 3-pin mosfet as indicating the PMR280UN datasheet. Now, on the motherboard listed above, and mine, in the place of U501, there is a component that has 6 pins .... What component is this, if in fact mosfet U501 is a 3 pin? . There's something wrong. If someone can confirm, I'd appreciate. A greeting

Pd.: I've seen that generally, what fails is U500, there are some videos online. Is it true?. Thanks in advance.

Hello. I have the same problem as other. I list my measures with connected pcb only by microusb without lcd etc.:
C559 ~ 0V
C561 ~ 0V
C558 ~ 0V
On C565 and C563 and U502 I have 5,1V, because that much is providing from usb port.

On the left side U506 I have 5V, but on the bottom what is the out of charging(I think), i don't see any voltage :/
The place where should be 1,8V according to post from first page, I can't measure this because is to small for me.
Does anybody can help me?

It turned out that I made a short circuit(USB port also was a problem). Unfortunately, I have too big solder and arrowhead and additionally probably I little overheated the port(that said guy in the service). I had to give the phone to the service (unfortunetly they are expensive).
Finally they will change the usb port and cut the short circuit.
Very thanks for an answer. Have a nice day.

I have had my S3 for nearly two years. Earlier this year, I had this issue with it charging/not charging. I bought an aftermarket inductive charger and have had zero problems ever since. During the day, if the battery gets low, I put in on the charge stand. At night, I plug in the usb and it charges to 100% every single time.

I bought a Samsung tablet and am having the exact same issue as I had with my Samsung phone.

Hello Folks can you pls verfy some parts for me
in the sevice manual it seems that U500+U502 (MAX14607EWL+) is the same which seems not to be correct!
On my phone I found:
U500 = MAX77686
U502 = maybe a MAX14607EWL+ cannot read to small
U506 = MAX77693
