galaxy 5830i black screen - GSM-Forum

i have just bought a brand new 5830i but no warranty , the display is black , it doesn't show up, the phone works ok, and the touch screen seems to work properly, i changed display but same problem,

any idea?

Remove the battery and the sim and mmc from phone and press the following buttons:
- conect phone with usb without battery
- Volume Down + power boton

When you hold on the buttons place the battery .. It w'll enter into Download Mode flash phone .

thx bro , i have already done that, i even used usb jig, it entered download mode but nothing on screen, i flashed it many time, odin, z3x but same, i am almost sure its a hardware problem

any other idea

Replace lcd connector

Bro how did u got black screen .....if u got it through software that means u have to use jtag for that to repair boot and flash it ur prob will be solved or if u got the problem by falling down or something like that then u have to check it from hardware ................

samsung gt-s5830i black display
if its of software or firmware not mean hardware problem
I tried to help in terms of hardware
try to check its lcd working voltage at C600 and C608
if both are still good rehot or replace its seventh filter lcd
F600-F601-F602-F603-F604-F605 and F606
