Member: 1824750 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | GT-I9000 GSMH low or no service/signal help I have tried many modems 9000 and 9000t and no luck I have tried 2.2 and 2.3.6 rom Issue I get I get no service/signal very rare 1bar but cant do calls e.t.c (-114dbm 0 asu) however if I get close to my carrier/network Tower I get full signal , good reception to do calls e.t.c so it has to be close to the tower or straight line. anywhere else no service or signal both tried 2g and 3g. could it be antenna problem ? there is no signs of water damage or dropped but could have been dropped as Im not the first owner. but everything looks new and untampered with. My other galaxy phones have no issues with poor signal where ever. |

Ok checked the cable seem to be connected fine no signs of damages I have to say that if i put a wire into the external antenna port I get full signal . so it could be the cable or the antenna? Does gsm and wcdma have different antennas? | |
