U700 black screen (no lcd no flex problem ) - GSM-Forum

Hi

I got few U700 with no display just black screen, thoug touchpad lights up.
The lcd and the flex works all fine with another pcb.

The phone can also make and receive calls , but just no display and no lights.

Did somebody had solved this problem ?

I have just been given a phone with the same problem. I can remember reading somewhere on this same board that it's a component problem which is hard to replace. But I can't find the same topic so wondering if there's any other fixes/work arounds?
