c905 keypad problem - GSM-Forum

i`ve got a s-e c905 and when i push on "6" key the phone ask me if i want to continue to play media in speaker? i hear c905 it`s a phone problem with keypad but with "c" key. i don`t open the phone because i think i can`t do anything if i don`t know where is the problem. can you help me with some picture please?

i think u have to try to change the flex

the phone has the same problem from new so i think not the flex it`s problem but i`ll try this one because i don`t have any other idea. thx

try to change down keyboard first because try try it b4 many is coz down keyboard spoil.....i got this problem before got many phone like this n i slove with change down keyboard or flex or center ribbon only
this problem sure no because montherboard problem.....try it all my buddies

i've repaired 1 which have similar problem. either it's the slider ribbon or the upper key board problem. sometimes it's the key switch on the upper side of the lcd ( the left and right side of speaker). check whether there water damage ).

HEY EVERYONE I FIXED THE PROBLEM. I dont know if sony erricsson have planned this hidden button but!! in the lcd screen on the top theres two buttons right when the key pad is broken the right key will work as a touch button when you slide your finger ower it and there you go its fixed. if it dosent work the first time it will work the other

Hi!
I had the same problem with a c905 and there was broken ways at the buttons on the side. I manage to repair it by checking the schematics.
There could also be the flex from keypad to board or the upper keypad.

I solved the problem with mismach of keypad by remove of the buttons for camera and player.

Cannot enter Menu button(center button)....on Upper keybord & some times 3,4,6,0 not woking..........

without down keypad connection Menu key is working......well.
i think..... its down keypad board problem..... right?

I tested............100%
Replace the DOWN (Number) Keypad Board.......... 100% ok
