Member: 42570 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 11 | That's a T28 cable, which is a service cable. At least it looks like one from the picture. You can use FlashingGold to upgrade your phone. However, FlashingGold requires a credit for each flash operation and they're not free. I really think you're better off to get a Terminator Dongle, doesn't require credits to flash and you can flash and reflash as many times (and as many phones) as you want. I made the mistake of getting a T28 cable and using FlashingGold before I realised my mistake and purchased a Div dongle. If you go to www.cellular-support.com and read the Content section, i've written a guide there about the differences between Flashing Gold and Div, plus a guide on how to flash your phone with Div (though it's a bit out of date now) |

The way it works is it reads information from the phone, sends that back to the remote server, the remote server sends back the information to bypass the boot authority. There's nothing to crack, it's the remote server that does all the work and it won't do any work without a user/pass that's valid and has credits. |
