Ericsson T28 and T29 network signal jumping!
 

I have this 2 phone ! Network search Ok ? but network constantly jumping from zero before full filling! The call to make not possible!
One my friend confirms - that faulty by PA!
But I distrust in this , I had several telephones Ò28 with faulty PA - they discharge the battery and were not included!

Help to understand - Necessary to change PA or no? That else can be reason of such defect ?

try change Ericsson transceiver IC , if don't help ->change PA:)

This IC stay in r320 phone/T20 , and try search in a2618s or a1018(correct me if i'am wrong).

Hi ! I try change PA ! the result - negative !!
The Defect remain former , but sometimes possible do call if signal of network full and touch the hand to antena signal disappears! I try to change antena and PA.....
I no have sevice manual for this phone !

Number 9 is a transceiver IC (Homeros, GSM Transceiver and VCO)
try change this chip .

I little was lost -
in 1018 is installed (3004CR1C Q5859 MPJ 00221 ) IN 2618 (30042C2C Q6925 MPJ 00382 ) IN T28 ( 11033C1D Q4291 MPJ 99431 ) THEY ALL DIFFERENT ????

from a2618s transceiver IC ,work fine in a1018s
From a1018 ic worked in a2618s fine too

I want to know(100%) possible use for T28 - IC from 2618 or 1018! I have these telephones and I can desolder these IC!

I need this chip too where to buy? i need also antenna swith 0508A for 3310 and other phones.;)

T20, 28 and 29 tranceiver ic are all same, u can use it, and u can desolder it with hot air, just airing around the ic leg and not directly to the ic, this tranceiver also cause a lot no network problem

dont u think the tranciever ic cannot be removed like having the air at its legs one by one-- u have to get rid of the nosle infront of ur hot air and than pick that up at one time-- with good pair of hands!!

correct me if i was rong---

I have one A1018s with same problem.
Last night it hadnt any signal and after resoldering some parts like [sp945 38043 rop1011100/c r1a 6003145.1] and small capacitors I could get the network signal and it could find the network but the problem is that signal level is varying form full to zero and I can not place a call.

please tell me ur idea for fixing this phone.
