i know this is solved by flashing the phone......but does anyone have the technical explanation why this happens with some displays?

my oppinion

i think the lcd had version for app. some version and i think can resolve by change some resister chip

Yes new LCD have to be flashed with R1AA and Later

SE has released an service bulletin with this issue

Yes,the lcd have two colors ,the one is green ,the other is yellow,The lcd of yellow must flshed with R1AA and later.The lcd of green is fit all the versions.
