K 750 Keypad Stress


Keypads:1,2,3,call,down,right & Power Switch - Don't Work.
The Rest Of Them Work Properly.no Visable Liquid.

Common fault with k series phones. Keypad I.C. needs inspection .If pad is corroded , it's curtains, if not replace or reball...

Not sure if inunderstand your post correctly, but did you mean that you tested the keypad on another K series phone? if resistance o.k ., and keypad is o.k. , then flux and flow the I.C , but clean thoroughly with Alcohol first , dry , then flow. From personal history, the pad under the I.C is usually corroded, so you may need one of the guru's in here to post a pin out diagram ,and bypass..-good luck , it's a hard one.......

k750i howto

Hello I have the same problem with my k750i as you. With which tools is it possible a reflow or rehot of the keypad ic? Can I use my 25W soldering iron on the crystal surface of the ic and reflow the solder on the connectors underneath?

No man, you need hot air station....you can learn how to use it on your local GSM service lab....
