K800i red led blink
 

hy, i vave a K800i, and when i try to power on, the red led blink. battery is ok, i dont know if its software problem. i dont have a software solution for the moment. ths

I HAVE MANY K800 WITH SAME PROBLEM AND CAN T BE DETECTED WITH SOFT i think its a hardware problem
any info about that prob ??

tryed to flash, but phone doesnt connect to pc. at surface looks ok, all contacts clean, al pieces soldered, phone is new. maibe is somethin with version not suported.....

Red LED blinking means something wrong
either with battery or Certificate

Try to Repair certificate with cruiser V10

and it will work

its get the fone working alright, found another problem, when the sim card is inserted, the software just freeze and switches off, cant do anything with the phone, it behaves when the simcard is out and stay on for hours, i dont want to flash it with cruiser yet, from what i have read in this forum.

im sorted got this k800i working, after software problems, its a lot easier getting the firmware upgraded or de-branned by wotan server, whats £4 to solve this. when you still make a profit for repairs, also i like thank all posters for all information supplied, we be lost without zfrank, if my paypal working i would deffently donate towards his hard work keeping board maintained..

P.S newbies search before posting,

wow... i repaired the phone. my k800 have a little circuit next to the som card connector, and that was exploded. i use some similar pieces from k750. now my phone start. must do raflash for customizatoin.

yes any dead db2020 will come to life with upgrade erom from cruiser only had one that didnt and that was water damaged after ultrasonic and reflow it worked ok. nice one cruiser team.
ps when will cruiser 2 be released.

i put a pic. from k750, i take one of little black and 8 legs circuit from k750 and put to k800 next to sim card conector(there is the same 2 pieces). try and see if something works.

just connect to cruiser and upgrage erom, if not connecting then it is a hardware problem just try to reball the power i.c whic is o the right side down below, i am sorry i dont have the cricuit diagram, both ways r 100%tested

i have the same problem with k800i, red led blinking and i can't connect it with cuiser ! (the phone is brend new)

brother i give some solution to u u try it i think this is solve ur problrm remove charging ic and check it set is on 99% for red blikinking in 800

I had the smae problem i flashed main and fs then did coustmise with cruiser it worked a treate for me :)

To Spax. Many times in this tread was mentioned that you need to upgrade erom. For upgrade erom you must have SeTool or Cruiser or MT Box. The procedures for this tools are different but solution is the same - UPGRADE EROM. Upgrade EROM possible only for CID49 phones. For Cid 51 for now nobody has the loaders.

hey guys, to date i've repaired about 30 db2020 phones on cruiser... it's really quite simply, all you need to do is flash EROM... and this doesn't cost you anything...

some of the phones give connection problems, make sure your battery is full, the charging block must be cleaned inside and out! all should be fine then!

don,t have to flash just read GDFS using UB or any other softwear box it will be fixed:) :) :)

What worked by me
 

I have a sony ericsson K800i.
I had the red blinking problem.
It doesnt start.
So i was searching on the internet.
I wanted to doe it for free.
What i red was that most of the time you have this problem you
need to update your EROM.
You kan make an accoun bij many organisations en then it cost you money.

I found a way to do it for free.
Go to

Download: KK_MClient.exe

Then you instal it and open it.
You do'nt need to do something withe the login because you can do this for free.
You choose Erom Update
put your battery of your phone for a little moment.
Put you usb cable in your computer.
Then you click on the flash phone button.
and while you are holding the buttons 2and 5 on your phone you put your usb cable in.
if he does'nt start do this with Read GDFS while holding C instead of 2 and 5.
After you do this you try the EROM again.
In a little moment you erom is updated.

I was stunt that it worked so i wanted to give you guys the information that i know.

hi,i hve a k800i and the screen led's and the keypad led's do not light up so the screen is faint with no light,i had a friend who flahed it but still nothing,it is still a k800i and had not been flashed to a k810i.ant suggestions please help me.thanks :D
