P800/900 Lcd Repairing - GSM-Forum

We have lot's of faulty lcd's, most of tuch screen faulty..anybody can repair this? we have good tuch screen (faulty lcd) also, anybody can swap tuch screen?

No problem, friend. Touch screen in P900 is glued to metal frame which can be disassembled easy from LCD. First you need to resold the small flatcable from touch screen to main LCD board, then reconnect touch scr. with it's frame from LCD. You need 2 min for this operation. The same operation with P800 needs steady hands and iron nerves because touch scr. in this model is glued directly to LCD. So you need to heat it's surface carefully then disassemble it from LCD using thin and sharp scalpel.
Be very careful because touch screen is made of thin brittle glass and can be broken in a moment. Train yourself on the bad LCD's and you'll understand how to do it.
