as far as I know ...
all phones after t20, t29
use the same RF IC ..
even T610 ... on some u can find
Infineon RF IC ... but thats because
infineon bought SE IC factory ....

all new rf ic's fits .... in : t610, t39/t65, t3x0, t200, t230 ...

only C62 RF IC is different

Hm....
I try with one from T68i (1011101/2c) and no network, after that with Infineon from T610 and also no network. IC's are good, when i put it back to T68 - network is full, so i think that T230 must use only 10111013 rf processor.

ps. C62 use Infineon, same as in T610

hmmm
its possible

but, have you tried with RF from another T230 ?
maybe the problem is not in the RF ic ...

i had such a cases ... but on t68 and t610 phones ...
putting another, working RF IC did not solve no network ...

consider that possibility
