T610 microphone problem - GSM-Forum

Hi my t610 mic doesnt work. i cant talk to ppl everything else works a treat im not very hardware minded when it comes to phone so if anyone can help me they will probably have to be very explicit. Thanks sunny

try to write and of gdfs , there are free on web just search for it .
T610_Default_Acoustics_v4.gdf
this can fix your mic problem if it is SW fault.
Else open the phone , remove mic and clean it properly.
Many mic problems are caused by dusty mic .

Go in the service menu test the microphone by pressing the bottom of the phone slightly, while you **** air with your ***** near the mic vicinity...If you hear the air flow from the upper part then its simple contact prob and you dont need to bother about the SW..

problem is ALWAYS bad small ceramic IC near the charging connector ...
if reflowing doesnt help ...
you need to replace it

try decustomize it

Do u have any idea about T230 with the same problem.

N650 is faulty

for t230 ... the same

how about T230 speaker AMP ?
where is it part number
and where is it location ?
my son drop the T230, now speaker no sound !

hi

near the system conenctor
you have one bigger and one smaller ceramic ic's ...

as i remember ,,, bigger one is used for mic pre-amp
and handsfree switching ...

try to rehot them ... should start working

No, no, no, no! The problem is nearly always a loose connection at the connector block. Slide it off and gently scratch clean the contacts. Then carefully reassemble.

Replace the mic or replace the blue square ic just over the systemconnector on the back. Mayby it will work resoldering the ic but probably not.

HI, does anyone know how to solve t610 and also t230 no ringtone but speaker is ok. i try to use software solution, change the speaker but no result. Thanks.
