Still trying to revive badly damaged (thrown phone

board of T610.
Now after some reballing work phone can start, but! Its repeadetly reboots, any ARM related functions are NOT working - even software revision in SW can't be shown - phone hangs. So, working just like no software in ARM. But ARM can successfully be reflashed, all goes ok, flashing is good, but after flashing - ARM not working. Even no TAE-log shown in debug mode.
In main CPU debug log:

LH: No remote linkhandler detected

i.e. phone hangs after "LH: No remote linkhandler detected" string.

i'm running out of ideas... Maybe some AVR-ARM connections are failed... But ARM can be flashed, so its OK (at least serial link and clock). Maybe ARM flash misconnected, but flashing is good, so flash work OK also...

Please, any good ideas.

i have many brand new phone have same problem i take out arm flash ic in lt48 prog sometime is ok i think maybe some data line open ciurect or some cap short ciurect .t610 pcb is too bad i repair few brand new phone have photo problem those have power line open ciurect fix in jump wire

need T610 servic manual please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

for me it was bad soldered arm flash IC. Works OK after reballing.
Anyway, board have PCB microcracks so i didn't got a t610 for myself...

Hi!
I have the same problem whit one T68i, I can flash the ARM but it does not show the SW in test menu and freeze in Wap menu. I try to reball the ARM but it does not help.
Anybody have the another idea?

. May be helps to You one thing . I have T630 water damaged . Doesn't switch on.
Connect with fighter but hangs on first triing of fighter get key to enter in boot ,only when take off battery & then connect it ( 10 - 20 times when fighter gots key) fighter can enter in boot mode , after flash avr there is an error, when try arm - error .After investigation under microscope revived one point near avr proc .Phone
started enter in boot by himself without battery taking off , after reviving few points
near avr proc phone started flashing all without errors . Switched on with card oh yeah all works , but after 8 - 13 seconds it restarts. So I think look for control from avr to arm cause if here exist flashing then adress lines ok , data lines ok so control
from arm to arm flash ok , but problems in connections from arm to avr or from arvr to arm exist .This phone now on my table klient dont give me accept for sum of repair , but if it will be & will post results here in case phone will works of cause

me too have a lot of interest in finding this solution i have around 12 sets som are brand new som are damaged i have experimented in many ways som sets not even showing software revision in SW like SFLOOD said n also repeadetly reboots . Results are confusing after interchanging MODEM FLASH IC of different sets like E.G Repeadetly reboot fixed and hang on call connect also fixed but hang on CAMERA OPERATION accured even after replacing NEW MODEM FLASH problem is still same !!

REALLY CONFUSED IN T610.....

yeah i agree.....ive also tried interchanging all the chips from a working perfectly T610 but phone still stupid????/any new results with this F U C K E D phones????

steps to follow..........

1. check battery.
2. check battery connector.
3. check your phone coupling again.
4. check your phone charging port area .

try this now .....

Hello SFLOOD,I will like you to put me through the reballing process.I have all the tools required.Whenever I try to reball an ic the soldering paste keep on melting away without forming a single ball on the ic.I will like to know if the heat I apply is too much.300 selcium heat,about 1inch close or is my soldering paste bad...? Please I need your immediate advice.

Seems you are not using solder paste.

What colour is it?
Should be greyish in colour. If it's yellow, white, red or green it is 100% solder flux paste.
