w810i freezes up - GSM-Forum

i bought a w810 off ebay that was faulty.when i got it it turned on ok but in the phone status it showed the phone to be a k700 and after a minute it would freeze up.i reflashed the phone and still the same problems.i also rewrote the gdfs and still the problems.it now wont turn on and when i try to flash it with se tool 3 itwont complete,it says gdfs refuses to start.is there anyone in the uk who could repair the board of this phone,i dont know what exactly is wrong with it but the se tool forum suggests its a hardware fault.
all help is appreciated

for this problem it is either the gdfs or a hardware problem. format then write a good gdfs in ssw format, if it still freezes than its a hardware problem and will need to go back to se service centre.

it seems to be very comman with w810's, we have had 5-6 now with this hardware problem.

i think the erom needs flashing but as its locked the phone is knackered.can anything be done to fix this.
