Hello people, i have a friend that has a W850i, and when he tries to turn it on the red led blinks three times

. Do you guys have any idea of what could be wrong and what can be done to solve it ??

Try to repair GDFS by Test Point method with Dream box,Cruiser or SEtool.

First of all...thank you for your help ! Ok...i got the SEtool (last vergion) and when i trie to run it i get this error : (Severe error (801000iD)
Do you have any idea why ?
I am runing on win. vista ultimate, (if that relevant)

To repair GDFS on Setool sw can i just use the DCU-60 cable or do i need any especial box ??

can u identify phone if yes then post log hear to decide should use TP or not

and about TP u need cruiser , setool , or dream box and tp cable nothing else

Thanks for your help Formingus !I would post the log but the problem is that I can´t start Setool´s software, that’s why I was asking if I need any special box or just the DCU-60 cable to connect the PC to the phone

Sory about the stupid questions but I am a newbie and I need some help

what problem u get whille starting setool sw

1.is smard card drivers installed ?
2.don't use 2 box that use smartc card on same time? ex: Smart Clip and Setool
3.Kaspersky knows sometime to block crypted sw
if u use any anti virus put setool in exclude list then-restart PC - execute sw

Setool, drambox or cruiser will be fine but in ur case maybe u don't need to use tp preocedure so via setool will be fine try to solove setool execution problem

or try with xs++ to flash it it's free for most phones of SE

yeah i tried with dreambox but it stopped on repair gdfs
