W950i Problem - GSM-Forum

Hi All

Any suggestions or help would be very appreciated.

Have a W950i which seems to have developed a fault.

The back light now stays on all the time even though the phone has power save enabled and the touch screen does not work but sometimes if you press the play button on the side the vibration unit kicks in for half a second and if you touch the screen the on screen menu button at the bottom will highlight with a red border and when you let go of the screen the more button then highlights with a red border but if you touch the buttons they just don't function so I assume that the touch screen is not faulty but might be a software fault.

I can not reset the phone because you have to confirm by using the on screen buttons which is a bit of a pain. If anyone has an idea or has come across this before I would be very gratefull for your help..

bit to costly for me that is looks like I will have to take it to the phone shop and se if they can repair it..

Hi

Does anyone no of any software that does not require a dongle and is capable of doing an erom repair for my phone..
