I am having exactly same problem...Was changing digitizer, and i managed by accident demaging the lcd ribbon. Replaced LCD two times and still got black lcd, only backlight working. I dont understand this problem as board and battery was taken out while i demaged LCD ribbon. Please anyone any suggestion? LCD is not faulty as i tried 2 so far.
