z600 odd power fault


If you press and hold the power button, the phone works 100% (keyboard as well). Let go of the power button, it switches straight off. Plug the charger in, switch on, remove the charger, and the phone works as normal.
Any ideas?

I had the same problem in water damaged Z600. I just cleaned it and rehot charge ic.
