S-Card v1.01, SmartMoto v2.02 & Smart-Clip v3.01 - GSM-Forum

Dear users,
We are pleased to announce a release of S-Card v1.01, SmartMoto v2.02 & Smart-Clip v3.01
The following options are implemented in this update:

*.smf and *.smb formats are added to the range of supported along with the new flash files (*.mfw, *.mbk, *.pcf, *.sbf and *.shx ).
C139 model is supported by Smart-Clip “Unlock” button (C115/C116/C117/C118/C155/C156/E365/V170/V171 unlocking procedure).
Supported “Repair PDS” for the model V360 (fw version R44419… )
Stabilized and reorganized SmartMoto working algorithm for some versions of Win 98 and XP. “Clip communication failure” or "Memory allocation failed" messages should not appear anymore.

NOTE
Please remember to perform a Smart-Clip update first and S-Card update after that only. Also, www.boot-loader.com data base will be updated with new flash files in *.mfw and *.pcf formats only. Support of old formats is added to be able to use previously stored files. No new flashes will be developed in *.smf format.

it's good move!

Please also check error when unlocking V360, L7 etc. = Error 9B, i think it's very important. Many users have this problem.

Some people was worried about your work and you are proving them which is the best team in Motorola. Keep as usual!

I forgot to add. Could be possible to include HS format, it's the format used to flex a phone. Many thanks

Hi, I have smart clip warranty expired last months. Now I am able to update the smart clip any more. If i purchase the s card can i be able to update and get the access of flash file. Please advise.

i don't have s-card yet, but i can update only my smartclip to "Smart-Clip v3.01" to unlock c139 by c115 method?

I've used Smart Clip for 1year. It provided many solutions for Motorolas and they were very useful for me, since I'm seriously engaged in unlocking business. At first sight, it seemed to be a bad idea for the SC Team to change file extention of flashfiles and to provide using the box with S-Card.

As we understand now, this innovation is extremly necessary to provide more security for the service box and intellectual property of the SC developers.

So I'm going to buy the S-Card for my Clip, update it to the latest version and start downloading new files, even if it is not too comfortable for me to download new extension files, as I'm interested in continuing getting solutions for new models and for the SC Team to continue working on them, and I think all of you do as well.

yes,you can,but you wiil not be able to use old smartmoto software,you will need smartclip dongle to use smartmoto
