I have successfully resurrected the handset but now there is no signal. When you first turn the handset on the network shows for a few minutes and then disappears. How can i rectify this problem?

Thanks

@ bbmad,

Check band settings, make sure that the handset support your network.
You can try to update band settings using using SmartMoto.
Also, one of possible reasons could be faulty antenna, make sure that it connected properly.

Thanks for the reply. I have tried to update the band setting but this made no difference. I am currently inspecting possible hardware fault.

Thanks

@ farrukh mobiles,

Reading flash id... 0x90 - 0090, chip unidentified this error shows that the flash chip of the handset can not be read properly. There are two main reasons for that:
1. The flash memory chip is damaged or doesn't communicate with the processor. In this case the phone needs hardware repair.
Connection between the chip and the PCB may be improved by the hot air.
2. Testpoint procedure was not performed properly -- just to make sure please, repeat the tp procedure.
